In 7th grade science, our young geologists took a deep dive into the powerful forces shaping our planet! 🌍 Using interactive models, students explored how tectonic plates move and collide, leading to the formation of ocean basins, mountains, earthquakes, and volcanoes. It was hands-on learning at its best as they visualized the Earth’s dynamic crust in action. 🌋 From shifting plates to rising mountains, our students are discovering the science behind Earth’s major geological events—and loving every moment of it!

We cannot possibly speak about our preschool without mentioning one person who has been here through the years—and that is Ms. Mary Jo! ❤️ Her many years of service and support of #ESUSD comes down to her experience with learning through play. There is a healthy balance of traditional and student-driven activities in her class. Here she is waiting for friends while becoming part of a spontaneous student game. Kids began singing with her while she counted their circles around her. What a splendid teachable moment in a preschool day! 🌞
