Congratulations to ESHS students Quinn Gregory, Conrad Hoffman, Volodymyr Droviazko, Michal Sochur, and Daniel Tritadavit for their first-place showing at the California Invention Convention!
The group created a working prototype of a Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) satellite, capable of capturing high resolution imagery at a low orbit. This satellite is designed to quickly spot and accurately locate wildfires, as well as other situations where clear pictures are necessary.
Out of 3,500 inventions submitted, theirs was selected as one of only 15 groups to advance to the national RTX Invention Convention in June. Congratulations to the team!
