El Segundo Middle School’s 8th grade science students recently took a walk through 4.6 billion years of Earth’s history! 🚶

Using the hallway as a large-scale geologic timeline, students measured, calculated, and mapped major moments in the history of our planet. 🌎

Richmond Street School’s Junior Coaches are teaming up with Coach T from Playworks Southern California to make recess a place where students can play, build relationships, practice leadership, and return to class ready to learn. 🏃‍♀️

September is Attendance Awareness Month!

Starting the school year with strong attendance helps students build positive routines, stay connected with classmates, and make the most of each day of learning.

Let’s all do our part to maintain consistent attendance—this month and all year long! 💪

Lunch just got more mobile at El Segundo High School! 🚚

New fully electric Food Services carts will offer more lunch options at multiple locations across campus, making it easier for students to grab a meal wherever their day takes them.

First-day greetings at Center Street included plenty of smiles, warm welcomes from the El Segundo Police Department and Board President Tracey Miller Zarneke, and, of course, a little caffeine. ☕

Thank you to ESPD for helping keep the first day safe, welcoming, and full of energy!

The Class of 2027 got an early start to the school year with the annual Senior Sunrise! 🌅

It was a morning filled with laughter and new memories as classmates prepared for their final year at ESHS.

These Eagles’ bonds are sure to last long after graduation! 🦅

From Senior Sunrise and School Resource Officer visits to a special guest joining the dance team, our Eagles are off to a strong start and ready to soar into the 2026-27 school year. 🦅

Today is Women’s Equality Day. Observed annually on August 26, this day commemorates the certification of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote for the first time.

We appreciate the opportunity to observe this important date in partnership with our community. 🇺🇲
