Computer Science Week

December 3-7, 2018

The Hour of Code takes place each year during Computer Science Education Week.

Computer Science Education Week is held annually in recognition of the birthday of computing pioneer Admiral Grace Murray Hopper (December 9, 1906).

To celebrate, all of El Segundo Unified Schools participate in, The Hour of Code.  The Hour of Code is a great way to expose students to computer science with free hour-long programming activities. The hour of code is designed to teach kids (and interested adults) about the wonders of a future in the tech industry.
