ESUSD is providing information regarding COVID-19 cases on our campuses, while also maintaining privacy and confidentiality for our students and staff. The data below represents the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among District students and staff on our campuses (in-person instruction and on campus only). This data will be updated regularly and as cases are confirmed.
Updated January 10, 2021.
These numbers do not reflect any reported cases of students or staff who contracted COVID-19 while school was not in session over winter break and who did not return to campus as a result.
*This number may fluctuate but will be updated periodically.
**Information updated regularly and as cases are confirmed. Current positive cases reported within the last 14 days. Data for a positive case will be removed when the individual is cleared to return to the campus. Staff members who only work remotely and have not been on District property are not included in these counts.
Communications to Families, Staff and the CommunityIn the event there is a positive case, affected individuals will be contacted directly by their school or district staff and they will receive notification that may include self-isolation directions and other important information. Families of students who are not affected will not receive a notification letter and no action will be required; however, the data will posted on this page for public review. Please note that ESUSD will only communicate and provide data for confirmed COVID-19 cases.
