Oulashian previously served as multi-tiered systems of support specialist at the Wiseburn Unified School District. She also has nine years of experience as an education specialist at two different middle schools. At the university level, she was a part-time faculty member at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) who taught elementary instructional design and methods, language and literacy courses for aspiring teachers. She also served as a universal design for learning coach and professional developer at LMU coaching K-8 teachers, as well as monitored teacher candidates as a university fieldwork instructor for LMU.
Oulashian has a broad scope of knowledge and passion for education with proven leadership skills. She is a respected professional within the school community and is known for creating workable and sustainable teams and systems, while encouraging a more student-focused classroom environment.
Oulashian earned her master’s degree in special education from California State University, Dominguez Hills and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
